Sean Levert Dies
Sean Levert has died after a medical emergency in jail.
Levert, 39, was taken from the Cuyahoga County jail in Cleveland on Sunday night after suffering from high blood pressure and hallucinations, but died within the hour at Lutheran Hospital.
Cuyahoga County jail, warden Kevin McDonough said Levert had been sick and guards were watching him at the jail's regular cellblock because he had been acting strangely.
"There was nothing that would show any of this," McDonough said. "He had an illness while he was here and it turned into an emergency at that time."
Last week Sean was sentenced to one year and 10 months in jail for failing to pay $85,000 in child support.
Sean was the second brother of the R&B trio LeVert to pass away. Gerald Levert was 40 when he died in 2006 of an accidental mix of prescription and over-the-counter drugs.

R Kelly appears in court
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Prosecutors want to add two people to the witness list for singer R Kelly's upcoming child pornography trial.
The performer appeared in court Wednesday but did not speak. His attorneys oppose the addition of witnesses this close to trial.
A judge told attorneys from both sides they would be allowed to question the two witnesses in advance of the trial, which is scheduled to begin on May 9.
The judge says he'll make a decision if the witnesses will be allowed to testify by April 1.

Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff Associate Attacks Lawyer In Court W/ Razor
A man convicted in a drug case with ties to Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff lunged at a federal prosecutor with a razor in court yesterday (Mar 11).
Victor Wright, who was facing a mandatory life sentence, snuck a razor into the Federal District Court in Brooklyn on Tuesday. He stood without cuffs before the judge awaiting sentencing while the assistant United States attorney, Carolyn Pokorny, who had successfully gotten him convicted on drug charges in '06, stood a few feet away.
Suddenly, Wright attacked Pokorny right there in the court room.
"He looked at the judge and he looked at Carolyn with total rage in his face and just lunged at her with a razor shiv he must have secreted somewhere from his body," court reporter Ronald Tolkin told The New York Times. Tolkin jumped on Wright as he choked Pokorny but failed to cut her.
Wright's own lawyer Harry Batchelder also jumped into the frey.
"As soon as Victor brushed past me and I heard Carolyn scream, I wasn't going to worry about the attorney-client privilege," he said. "I joined the party."
Both Pokorny and Batchelder received medical attention for minor injuries, according to a spokesman for the United States attorney's office.
Wright was convicted in '06 on federal drug charges as part of a case involving Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff and has apparently held a grudge against Pokorny since then.
McGriff is serving a life sentence behind bars because of racketeering charges, narcotics trafficking and conspiring to murder aspiring Queens rapper E-Money Bags and a former associate Troy Singleton.
"[Wright] thinks she framed him, and you could see he really hated her," Tolkin said.
Wright had previously told his lawyer as much.
"When I spoke to him beforehand, he asked me, 'Do you think Ms. Pokorny has any remorse?' " Batchelder said of Wright. "I said, 'Remorse? She's just doing her job.'"
Wright's sentencing was delayed and he will probably face more charges. He was being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center.

Witness Claims He Saw Remy Cock .45 Handgun
South Bronx rapper Remy Ma’s assault trial continued in court today (March 12) in Manhattan, when the prosecution produced two witnesses who testified against her.
Remy Ma, 26, is accused of shooting Makeda Barnes-Joseph twice in the abdomen after leaving a Manhattan nightclub in July of 2007, shortly after the pair argued over $3,000 dollars that was missing from the rapper’s purse.
According to the Associated Press, a 21-year-old student and friend of shooting victim Makeda Barnes-Joseph named Oluwole Ajudun testified that he saw Remy Ma get out of a Cadillac Escalade with a .45 handgun.
Ajudun claimed he saw Remy Ma cock the .45 and later heard a gunshot. The man then claimed he saw Remy Ma leave Joseph’s car as did another witness, who testified she saw a flash and witnessed the rapper exit Joseph’s car moments after Joseph was shot twice in the abdomen.
Prosecutors claims Remy Ma then fled the scene after pillaging through Barnes-Joseph's bag.
Remy Ma then crashed the Escalade into a parked car a few blocks away from the scene of the shooting.
Remy Ma surrendered to the authorites later in the day and was charged with first-degree assault.
Remy Ma also faces witness tampering charges, after two men, including the boyfriend of a witness, were assaulted at a club in the Bronx, allegedly by her boyfriend, rapper Papoose, and his associates.
Remy Ma, born Remy Smith, faces up to 25 years in prison if she is convicted of the charges.
Juelz Santana Busted With Hollow Tip Bullets & Pot
Dipset member Juelz Santana was arrested near the entrance of his Teaneck, New Jersey home, after police found hollow point bullets and marijuana in his Bentley.
The rapper, born LaRon James, was arrested last week as he approached his home in the gated community of Glenpointe.
The arresting officer claimed he smelled the odor of marijuana emanating from Santana’s Bentley and upon further inspection, noticed several marijuana roaches, Dutch Masters and White Owl cigars.
After police learned the rapper was driving with a suspended license, they searched the vehicle and found 29 hollow point bullets wrapped in a sock, as well as $19.500 dollars in cash in a hidden plastic bag filled with “hundreds of Jolly Rancher candies.”
According to The New York Daily News, after being searched, police also found a rolled marijuana blunt in Santana’s sock.
Police also found a sandwich bag of marijuana in the police car where Juelz Santana had been sitting.
Representatives for Juelz Santana were not available as of press time.

"Erykah Badu is set to become the face of Tom Ford's forthcoming fragrance. I just read it in the New York Times profile on Erykah, The Mind of a One-Woman Multitude (very entertaining), but apparently it was reported first atVogue UK.
I've done some checking and no one seems to know the name of the new fragrance BUT... and this is a big BUT - Erykah herself has already revealed the name! My pal Najwa Moses got the scoop during a brief Q&A with Erykah a few days ago and posted it. Sean “Diddy” Combs and Ben Silverman will work with David A. Hurwitz to create a new reality mini series called� Celebrity Cooking Showdown.
Diddy has already previously been involved with other reality tv shows including The Bad Boys of Comedy and MTV’s Making the Band and Run’s House.

Akon’s new book will be titled Thug Politics and is the second release from C-Murder’s TRU Publishing company.
The first release from the new company was Jacki-O’s title Grown and Gangsta, which landed in book stores last month.
According to a representative for TRU Publishing, Akon’s book Thug Politics is due in stores in April or May.
C-Murder, Jacki-O and Akon will also join a literary campaign to promote their books, as well as literacy amongst children and teens.

T.I. Associate's Murder Unlocked, Shooter & Motive Identified
Details surrounding the murder of T.I.'s personal assistant and friend, Philant Johnson, have recently been revealed.
As previously reported by SOHH , Philant Johnson was killed on a Cincinnati highway in a hail of bullets on May 2, 2006 after an altercation broke out between Tip, members of his Grand Hustle label and another group of patrons at Cincinnati's Club Ritz.
Now, according to Atlanta radio station, V103, sources claim that authorities know who the triggerman is and have also learned the motive behind the crime through another unrelated arrest.
During "The Ryan Cameron Show," the radio host reported that the motive for the shooting may be over a promoter mistakenly thinking he had T.I. booked for an after party. The promoter supposedly found out that he had been duped by a person who said they could secure an appearance from the rapper. When they found out that T.I. was at another party he went to the location with several other men and waited for T.I. to leave the club.
The men allegedly used a .25 caliber pistol and a 9 mm handgun in the attack on T.I. and members of Grand Hustle, including Johnson. Reportedly one of the assailants was also hit, in apparent exchanged gunfire. He escaped though, and averted detection by being treated for his wound across state lines.
Cameron went on to report that authorities are currently holding two suspects in custody and a warrant will be served on the shooter later this week.

Facing A Front...A Msg For My
There is a man w/ a very old soul & a merry old soul indeed. Wise beyond years I have always found this soul to be very captivating...
From the moment we met, this soul & I knew there was a very "special" connection, a bond beyond words. A connection neither could and still can't explain...
For many years I have put on a "front", fighting myself at down playing the connection...for we are like May/December. Something my old soul never seemed or seems to care about...
Although I must admit when together it feels like spring. My stomach is always filled w/ joy, happiness, BUTTERFLIES and on those special occasions a warm waterfall...
Always at a lost for words with this old soul, I find myself holding back. Never saying much, but hoping internally that this soul feels my unspoken words...
In my heart I know the connection is forever no matter what direction we may go...
So what's the point of this little note....because I have supressed, fought, and hidden my "true" feelings for this soul, I am now on overload. Consumed by what could have been and what is....
For my well being I have to openly express & release these feelings to the universe or in this case on my myspace...
Why not just confront the old soul....I don't know....I think it's because of the butterflys or maybe it's because my old soul already has a soulmate!...
